Privacy at AgentToolDrop
AgentToolDrop is a set of pages built ahead of time and served by Cloudflare Pages. You can read all of it without an account, and nothing on it asks you for personal information.
What the site does not do
- No accounts, sign-ups or logins.
- No forms that collect your details.
- No cookies set by the site itself.
- No advertising and no third-party trackers or tracking pixels.
- No fonts or images loaded from other companies: the fonts are self-hosted with the site. The only script from outside the site is Cloudflare's analytics beacon, described below.
Hosting and request logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, each request reaches Cloudflare with technical details such as your IP address, browser user agent and the address you asked for, and Cloudflare processes them to deliver and protect the site, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. A small Cloudflare Pages Function reads the request's Accept header to choose between the HTML and the markdown version of a page; it does not store anything.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, switched on in Cloudflare where the site is hosted, to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Cloudflare adds a small script to each page, loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com, that reports the page load. It does not use cookies, and what we see is aggregate: counts of page views and visits, referring sites, countries, and browser and device types. It is not used to build a profile of you or to show you ads.
Things that run in your browser
The directory search filters a list that your browser downloads from /directory-index.json; your search words appear in the page address (for example /directory?q=postgres) so a search can be shared, and like any address they reach Cloudflare when the page loads. The copy buttons write an install command to your clipboard only when you press one.
Where the tool data comes from
The catalog is about tools, not people. Each entry is written from the tool's own website and documentation, and the stars, releases and push dates come from public GitHub data fetched by a script before the site is built. No visitor data goes into it.
If you email us
The email links on the site only open your own mail app; nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do write to hello@agenttooldrop.com, we receive your address and your message and use them to reply and to act on what you sent, such as a tool suggestion or a correction.
